Consultants and service providers
There are not many good consultants in the German-American field. Since our organization was established in 2003, we have always tried to find and retain the best. We also rely, inter alia, on feedback from our participants, which we receive after each event in the form of answers to our questionnaires. In addition, we approach the managers personally and inquire if there is anything to improve.
With respect to legal consultants, our experience shows that major American firms are not well received. They are too expensive, always attempt to reinvent the wheel, and give clients little attention if they cannot promise six-figure consulting fees. Retaining a small full service firm (up to about ten lawyers) with German-speaking lawyers who have completed a German legal education is in our opinion the best choice, especially for the role of Corporate Secretary.
